Youth Island

City of Refuge

Youth Island is our long-term vision for a self-sustaining community in Ethiopia where vulnerable young people can find a safe home, an education, healthcare, and a way to earn a living.

How it brings the pillars together

Today we do this work in many places. Tomorrow, in one.

Right now each program happens separately: kits in one school, supplies to one hospital, training somewhere else. A single campus lets a young woman who comes for school also get care, learn a trade, and have a safe place to live, all in one place, run by the community itself.

Cornerstone Charity OrganizationWhere it stands

In development, led on the ground by Cornerstone.

Youth Island in Ethiopia is inspired by Impact Ministries International. The location is still being chosen. Cornerstone, our team in Addis Ababa, will build and run it; YetmAyehu raises the support here.
