The problem

Hospitals and shelters run short of basic medicines and equipment. Women in rural areas travel far for care, and too many mothers still die from causes medicine knows how to prevent.

195 mothers die for every 100,000 births in Ethiopia, about 20 times the rate in high-income countries. Source: WHO, UNICEF, UNFPA, World Bank estimates (2023)
What we've done
$30K+ in medicines and equipment delivered to Debre Berhan Hospital (2022), Mekedonia, and Abebech Gobena (2025), sourced with Americares, MAP International and Global Health Ministries.
100 orphans at Zewditu Meshesha received dental kits, and 50+ were screened by volunteer dentists (August 2025).
What is needed now
  1. 1Medicines and medical supplies for partner hospitals and shelters
  2. 2Volunteer doctors, nurses and dentists for medical trips
  3. 3Hygiene and health education for girls and women
The long-term vision

Community wellness centers that offer essential medical care, prevention, and hygiene education from an early age, led by a founder with more than 30 years in medicine, including women's health.
